| Looking for a small reflex or mini dot to use bye itself not a micro for a scope. Somthing like the Burris fast fire thats my first choice right now. Anything smilar in the 200.00 range want to run it for 0-100 yard shooting on my defense 3 gun rig. |

I was going to say Trijicon till we hit the price range. SWFA had them for $250, don't know if they still do. Edit- Yep, here. Trij dot for $250 |

TNVC has a small RDS that is in your price range:
http://www.tnvc.com/shop/tnvc-rdpii/ It wouldn't be a wise choice for self defense, but for a range toy it'd be great IMO. |

I have the TNVC model, the fastfire, and the fastfire II. I like the fastfire's better than the TNVC, they just seem better constructed. I really like the new Trijicon models that don't use batterys. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try one in person yet. IME the ones I have used are a bit dimmer than I like in bright sunlight but still useable. |
| ok I have narrowed it down to the VortecSparc or the burris fastfire II I like both same price point but the Sparc comes with mounts and a 2x doubler sounds good also I hear nothing but good things about their scopes everyone is buying Vipers right now. Im not Leo or in Harms way so these choices should be good on the range or if a BE ever hapens at the house closest ll ever come to combat, |
| My Vipers have been great, but my Crossfire didn't work out so well. I did mount it on a .50 though, so that might be why the turret unscrewed itself from the side of the scope in less than 10 rounds. On the other hand their customer service was good, took awhile for them to get the PST replacement to me though. (I paid the difference in cost for the upgrade.) |
