I did a search and could not find an answer but I'm sure it's been asked before.
I have a flat top 6.8 AR and mounted a Weaver 1-3x20 (8.5 oz) scope on it using Burris Xtreme rings and a Yankee Hill Machine rail extension. I have found that I could mount BOTH rings behind the center of the scope directly to the rifle. I would not need the extension at all and would have good eye relief. Anyone done this? Any reason not too? |
