[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Small vs. large apertures

What do you guys wind up using more? If your answer is "small", then what was the larger one designed for?

Does anybody else use the large one, for 100 yards and under? Thanks for the input guys.

Yes Sir. I am aware of the thread. I was really just wanting to hear what the A2 guys wind using, and their opinions on the matter.

Well, Right now I am using a carry handle but I have an Aimpoint coming in within the next couple of days. I took a class with the irons and only used the 0-2 aperture. It was just to hard to see the front sight when I was up close, It took longer as well.

Large for CQB and low light, small for zero and distance. Used the large for 3 gun and never went to the small

I change out all the A1 aperatures on my shooters to A2's, but if I build a clone to be as close as legally possible to the originasl thing then I leave it as is.
