Hi all. I am fairly new to caring much about weapon lights.  I have lights on various pistols and rifles, but never really did much by way of research - in fact 3 of my lights are utg & 2 are no-name brands.

I have recently "finished" an AR - just a few things left to do.  One of them being a weaponlight.
I am liking the streamlight polytac right now - I prefer click-ons to twist ons.   But there are other things I like about the Surefire G2.

I am wondering if anyone makes a push for momentary on, clicky for on with a twist for output modes Low/High?

I've been looking around for this and can't really find one.

Preferably < $100.

Thanks.

Our Elzetta ZFL-M60 equiped with the optional High/Low Tailcap operates exactly as you describe.

That is very nice.. I just ordered a mount from you guys on Monday.
Unfortunately it's a little out of my price range for now...

I would save up for the quality light, you know buy once cry once.  I myself am saving up for the Elzetta light and mount. I have their  1500 mount on four rifles with Surefire P6  with Malkoff 235 lumen lamps. They are great lights but I still want the ElZetta.

Maybe you're right.  I could just get the polytac for now & save up for something better.
I'm still open to suggestions though, if anyone else has another idea.

This for the win.  Save up a little longer, and do it right once.  Get the Elzetta.
