| My other hobby is rock crawling and I could not mount my Ford Motorsports tach except to the dash. Well the screws would just pull out of the dashpad so I tried Gorrila glue.... That is some serious stuff!! It has held for a year and 2 roll overs. To keep this AR related, this is my rig I use to dissappear deep into the woods when we want to go through several hundred rounds without attention... |

I have known zander829 for years and he does excellent work. I was considering one of the newer slip on pads off the EE when he told me about this project. I have always hated the way the factory stocks slide around on your web gear and flak vest/IBA. Something about polymer against nylon seems to render the factory applied checkering useless. I think this will provide a better grip and is a cleaner looking alternative compared to ANY slip on pad. I especially like the way he used acra-glass to fill in the mounting holes for the otherwise useless swivel that everyone removes. Great job, Wpns Man |
