While I have barreled dozens of AR's.. I'm rebarreling my first spacegun ( a buddy's)... the float tube is one piece.. Which one of the strap wrenches that Brownells sells works better?? or is there something els on the market ??

Thanks

What kind of float tube is it?

not sure of the make.. but it is a one piece with all the holes on the backside to use for the gas tube.. it is aluminum.... I'm building ,for myself ,a spacegun upper that has the 2 piece float tube and that isn't a problem as I can use the proper wrench to get the barrel nut tightened by it self and then screw the tube on the nut.. but this one piece float tube has the barrel nut incorporated in it...

Sear rubber banding wrench works fine, Os DPMS makes a two prong thin wrench that allows you to use the gas tube holes.

But, you may want to use Blue locktite on the threads to hold it solid sure since you will be appling a lot of pressure on the tube when slung up (read the tube loosing/rotating against the gas tube sides and mis-indexing the palm pad to screw up your hold position).
