| I did some searching, to see if there were any recent posts about this optic, and I couldn't find any. I've been seeing a lot of good things about this sighting system, and it's about everything I would expect a sight to be. I especially like that I don't have to roll the magnifier to one side, and it's not 3x, it's a 4x. I understand this is a very spendy optic, which is why I was wondering if any of you have come across something like the Specter DR, only not for around 2k. |

The Specter DR is in it's own league. I have not seen anything that does what this can. The closest alternative is a variable 1-4X scope which are popular and cheaper but you don't get that instant magnification/demagnification. You still have to turn the magnification ring. Check the EE for some good deals on used Specter DRs. That's the only way to avoid the retail price. |

ARMS will replace your throw levers with the new MKII adjustable levers for $15. You can either send your scope in or order just the levers and replace them yourself.
See thread here. For me, this removes the primary beef I had with the scope. I've owned several and all were either too loose or too tight on one or more of my uppers. |

Just ordered two sets for my SU-230s. ~Augee |
