Anybody using these?   Any comments good or bad?  I want to put it under a 12" Troy rail.....will it fit?  It looks pretty short.  Will it cover the "scar" from the fsb?

The specter gas block covers the scar from the taper pins, but I don't think they fit under a Troy handguard.

You have to go with a PRI, LaRue, Troy, KAC or MI gas block to fit under a Troy.

None of these are going to "clamp-on" like the specter block does.
The permanent muzzle device needs to come off the barrel if that's why you were considering the Specter.

Thanks, I was afraid it might not fit.  Yeah, I know the fh has to come off.  I plan to use another anyway.  The Specter was the only one that looked long enough to cover the un-parked area under the old fsb.  It's going on a 16" so it doesn't really matter too much, but I think it might still be visible plus I just don't like the thought of bare metal and too cheap to duracoat it.  Kinda sounds like I want my cake and to eat it too huh?

Of the ones I mentioned above, the LaRue ($70) and the MI ($45) both cover the taper pin scars and missing parkerizing from removal of a FSB.

I have both of them in-stock as well as many others on my parts page.

Thanks again.  I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do.  I've got 2 rifles...one stock and one with all the goodies......trouble is I want the goodies on the m4gery and money is tight.  BRD is a bitch.
