| I just received a Spike's complete upper and by chance I have a brand new Bushmaster. Laid down the two side by side and I will bet anybody the same manufacturer made these two uppers. I have a Stag coming in a few days and I am real curious about theirs because I think they make their own. Oh by the way Spike puts a spider logo on top of their charging handles. I know what is the point. Ignorance on my part I guess is the point. |

There's not a damn thing wrong with Bushmaster, unless of course you're a 'snob'................. bushmaster was the most highly regarded manufacturer right behind Colt back in the day....... Not a smartass question....what is considered "the day" in regards to Bushmaster? |

Not a smartass question....what is considered "the day" in regards to Bushmaster? late nineties/early 2000's. i owned several. they were all great guns. accurate, reliable, looked good, quality stuff. many on arfcom at the time championed Bushy as top of the line, again behind Colt of course. |

Whether they're made by the same manufacturer or not is irrelevant. I just received a Spike's complete upper and by chance I have a brand new Bushmaster.
