Awesome company to do business with...I own their carbine and I love it. Their Customer service is some of the best I have ever seen from any company.

can't go wrong with Spikes

I have a self built spikes parts AR - took it through a class and bunch or range days - not one problem!  true mil-spec grade and better!

BTW, their dynacomp muzzle brake is awesome!

I'm building a Spikes right now, just waiting for the backorder to show up on the complete lower(8-12wks). Already have the barreled upper and BCG just no handguard/sights yet cause I can't make up my mind on what I want to get. Its a midlength 14.5" and my first Spikes carbine.

I got their stripped lower, complete 14.5 midlength lightweight upper with pinned Dynacomp, I added some magpul furniture, BCM Mod 4 charging handle, BCM tube with spring, PCA LPK, samson BUIS, Eotech and some other minor goodies

don't have the final state picture, but this is somewhere in the middle:

I have some spikes experience 3 lowers and 2 uppers but am no expert. Both uppers run flawless for me no matter what I feed it even the 14.5 middy will eat Tula. The lower I have built went together with no issues.

The fit and finish seems to me to be better than the 1 BCM I have handled and fired as well as a few colts. Most of the people I shoot with are either Leo or still in the mil. and they, even the die hard colt man agreed the finish is very nice based on our small sample group.

Both of my uppers can shoot better than me. While I'm sure your current rig is more accurate mine have done what I ask of them.

For the price point I don't believe they can be beat, they have the specs and a solid rep for taking care of their customers. I have even seen the CEO here responding to issues people have in public! In the open for all to see he is not afraid to say yep it's wrong here's how I will fix it. That for me sold me on giving them a shot. I wanted a BCM but waited and waited and could never get one I wanted in stock so one night while lurking i saw the thread I'm speaking of and gave him a chance and since then all of my money that I can get away from my wife.

Hope this helps.

The only problem with ordering directly from Spikes is the looooooong wait.  The smarter option is to buy an upper from AIM Surplus, and a lower from anyone selling them.  I assembled 4 Spikes rifles in the time it took them to build me one (the rifle with the tan stock was the one assembled by Spikes).

I was just in their shop 2 weeks ago. That place is full of parts, uppers, lowers, barrels, and every thing in between and lot of people working hard. They are awesome guys and build an awesome product. I have 2 ARs built off spikes lowers and love them

When I ordered my .22 upper and M4 upper with Adams Arms piston kit, there used to be a selection on the bottom for compliance options... but they just moved all that to another section, and you pick what you need done (billed as a separate product).

For the 5.56mm upper, I think it was quoted for two weeks. There was a backorder on the A2 flash hider, but my upper was delivered like a day before the two-week period ended. Demand of Spike products has increased since then (and I'm happy for them), so they don't really give estimates. In any event, you will be happy with it.

By the way, what FFL you using?

Another +1 for Spikes.  I have a complete carbine and have a 10.5 upper on the way.  No problems of any kind with the carbine.
