After a pin/weld job on a Spikes Dynacomp what is the process for refinishing. Can you use a High temp black paint or does it have to be parkerized?

The Dynacomp is a melonited stainless steel. If I understand correctly SS can not be parkerized. Is this correct?

Does the melonite allow for parkerizing?

What have any of you done to finish off the weld with.

though I've never refinished a Dynacomp, I frequently use grill paint for refinishing high temp parts on my rifles.

I would leave it as is.

If you're ever approached by law enforcement, you can just flip your rifle over and show them the weld mark.
