I've decided to get a 9mm upper. I would like to build my own. How are the barrel/upper/etc from Spikes Tactical? How do Spikes compare to just buying a 9mm upper like the RRA or CMMG? Price wise it looks like RRA is the cheapest but the with the Spikes I can build it with the parts I have already and to what specs I want. Looking for any opinions on this topic. Spikes good or bad? What are the issues or positives?

Spikes is definitely good to go. I have one of their dedicated .22 uppers and my brother has two of them. I shoot it more than I shoot my KAC or Noveske

Get a Spike's. You won't be dissapointed.

You said it all, You want to build your own. I've been doing that with Spike's parts for years and haven't been disapointed one time. The quality of their parts is second to none in my book. They are more than 100% dedicated to Customer Satisfaction. How can you ask for more than that. I have rifles and pistols in .223/5.56 and in 22, both dedicated and not using their parts, Love Em All.
