Well I phoned in a order for a Spikes 22lr upper M4 config with a railed gas block and a pinned comp as N.Y. requires Two 10 rnd mags to boot. I completely forgot to ask how long to delivery. This should be fun! This setup looks like the perfect setup to introduce my college age son's friends to shooting. They were not interested in hunting so my lever guns did not interest them, they liked the handguns but in NY you need a permit to handle one let alone fire one But boy did their eyes light up with my Mforgery! So I figure a few bricks of 22lr with a few 5.56 thrown in and we will add a few new shooters to the fold! If they seem real interested I'll even throw in their first NRA membership!!

Yep,dedicated 22lr only . See I was perfectly happy with my bigbore rifles and handguns never had a hankering for a AR. Then about a year and a half ago when a "assault weapon" ban was talked about I figured I would get one just because I new nothing about AR's except that I would need a NY compliant gun and preban mags. I bought a Bushmaster M4 with the non collapsible stock. Recently I bought two stripped Stag lowers and LPK that I installed with the help of Ar15.com tutorials  Spikes 22lr upper and a ordered RRA 18" M4 varmint upper are bound for those lowers! Eotech,larue mounts it doesn't stop!!
