How do I spot a clone EOTech?  I've only held one real EOtech before so I'm having a hard time telling if this is a clone.  I'm in Afghanistan right now and the shops on base do have a lot of clone stuff but they do have real stuff to.  The shop I go to the most is real good about separating the real from clones.  I got a great Surefire from this guy for a rock bottom price.

So how do you think I could tell?  The other clones are real obvious without a doubt.  If it is a clone, it is dam good.  Do EOTechs have there model number listed any where?  I didn't see one but my hands were full so I could not really get in-depth with it.  The glass looks good, the holograph is good and clear.  He was busy so I couldn't ask about the packaging.  I don't have a problem with good clones and was considering one from Primary Arms.  If this is a clone, it is over priced but if real, it is a good price like the Surefire I got from him.

You should see the Aimpoint clone, it is laughable.  What is supposedly the battery holder and switch is actually a cheep red laser so you look through this tube and find where the red laser dot is.  It's funny!  They have an AGOC, says ACOG but it is engraved ACOG instead of raised stamp like the one I actually carry and it doesn't have the light bar on top, LOL.

Thanks guys!

Cool thanks, yep it is a fake, I don't even have to go back to see it.  Gonna have to talk to my guy and tell him to move it to the "Other" counter :-)
