Ok - so I shoot at a local 100 yard range.  I'm not sure that binoculars would quite get it.  I have some 10x binoculars and they do not quite get it.  I have to disrupt other's shooting to go down and look  I'm sure if I bought some of those targets that highlight the bullet hole I would be fine with the binoculars, but those suckers are like $12 for 5 of them.  I usually print my own targets.

I'm looking to get a spotting scope so that I can see the 100 yard target properly. Does anyone know of any decent spotting scopes that are less than $100 that would serve this purpose (not for use in harsh weather or in hunting as I do not hunt, but rather just shoot from some shooting tables).

Anyone have an idea of a spotting scope that would fit these parameters?

If you can't tell - i'm on a tight budget

I bought one from Wally world. It is OK at best. I shoot 100yards and it works for me. You get what you pay for when it comes to spotting scopes. Honestly, I would assess how much you shoot. IF your a once a month type, get a wally world one for 50bux. If your a weekly shooter, invest in a good quality one. Im a once a month type so I can get away with the cheaper one.

I do shoot weekly (well, as ammunition permits - again that pesky budget) - I guess I could go as high as $200 if anyone knows of something decent...

KONUS KONUSPOT-80 - Spotting scope 20-60 x 80 gets good reviews.  I have the bigger brother, very clear.  Buy a decent scope, cheap ones aren't worth it, especially if your looking for .223 holes.

I have an inexpensive Yukon 20x50 scope:

It's all over Amazon for $60 with free shipping. Overall, for the $$$ paid, I'm happy with it. It's not a variable power, but works well for 100 or 200 yards, is compact when you collapse it, and is easy to set up and focus.
