Is the spring and buffer for an entry length stock, the same as the spring and buffer in a collapsible stock?

I have a complete entry length stock, A friend needs a spring and buffer for a collapsible. I want to give him the spring and buffer and chuck the stock as I will never use it and I tried a couple times to trade it but nobody wants it.

Bushmaster Stubby Stock w/ Carbine Buffer and Spring

This version of the standard A2 buttstock (3.25" shorter) makes the AR type rifle easy to carry in confined quarters - not much longer than a compressed telestock, but just long enough to be legal length with 16" barrelled guns and sized well for women and younger shooters. Comes complete with carbine length Buffer and Spring. A standard rear sling loop is mounted, and the solid buttplate (no trapdoor storage compartment) is smooth and comfortable on the shoulder. Length 7.25 inches / Weight 14.6 oz.
