I kinked the tip of the take down pin detent spring while installing my UBR. Kinked about 2 coils at the tip. The take down pin clicks and locks tight when closed. Should I be worried about the kink? Thanks.

Not enough to effect anything........if it is a positive lock on the detent....you are good to go.

Springs are cheap.
Crap happens.
Buy some spares when you order other things.
Springs mostly weaken through cycling, that spring does not get much of a workout.
