Where did you hear that? Most people here like Stag. They make good rifles for the money. +1 they make really good product and g2g. Never heard anyone complain about them, just the dislike of the deer logo which as stated before is not "tacticool" I would even rank them maybe tier two borderline three. Reguardless they are good guns. |
| I was in my local shop today and they had ordered a Stag 2L for a guy and something was wrong with the trigger. I heard them say something about it not resetting after firing a round. I don't know if this is common with them but they were going to send the rifle back to Stag. I have a 1L and it hasn't given me the first issue. Everywhere I've read for the most part has said that Stag is g2g. |

Everywhere I've read for the most part has said that Stag is g2g. had it happen as well plus the FSB on none of mine was centered, all ran out of windage before they could be zeroed had one that had something out of spec on the bolt, and it would not extract, had to send ity back twice one that the gas tube was in a bind and wouldnt cycle at all several FCG problems. I finally gave up , stag CS was nice and friendly though if that matters to ya odlly they all came into the local gunstore in one order. maybe it was a bad production batch, it was around 05-06 or whenever it was they started to sale their 20 inch gun, that was when I had all the problems, I sold them all off for ammo |
