What do most people sight in a 3-9x42 scope in at? I have close sights sighted in at 25 yards so close distance isnt a problem.

I would go 200 yards for a longer range rifle.

ETA: Longer than a typical AR that is (50 yards)

200yds.... about 7" low at 300yds.
