Hey guys I am looking for a new case. I would like a StarLight or something similer, just big enough for the carbine and 5 30rd mags, maybe precut for a 16.1" preban M4A3 style carbine with ACOG mounted on the carry handle. What would you guys recommend? Thanks a ton... |

Starlight cases are among the best. Full mil-spec. I bought my first one from Brack Wilson at their factory over four years ago for about $120, and it didn't even have the wheels or the end handle. I saw one fully equipped at Sams Club several months ago for $65. I grabbed it! I hear that they're as low as $58 at some Sams stores. If you can get one of these DO IT! You'll never see a comparable case at near this price again. |
Sam's Club sells them? If so I'm going pick one up. jnewt, don't know about you but I prefer the inconspicuous look when I'm toting around my carbines. Pelican cases are the shit, but I prefer something smaller, lighter, and more discreet when carrying a carbine. Check this case out, just an idea. People will think you are carrying a laptop... if they only knew. Discreet Carry Case |
Does Sam's do online sales? |
Ya I had one of those Eagle Discreet Cases along with two other Eagle cases but have since sold all three... Very nice and in my opinion the nicest soft case money can buy however I am really looking for a hard case that is compact, custom fit and just big enough for a 16" car with a few mags. Sams Club has StarLight cases? Sweet! Guess I need to make a trip up to Tulsa this weekend. Is there a certain model I need to look for? Seein how they may froun on me carryin a rifle into the store...lol... I want to get the right one. |
Just what I needed bro! Thanks a ton... Do the Cases come in different colors? I would like a black case but not a must have... |
Just so you know, Sams only carries one model of the Starlight cases (Double Rifle Case #SC-061352 - Starlight). While it's an excellent deal @ $65 it is a LOT bigger than what I think you are looking for. Also know that SAM's has been carrying them for a while and now are just trying to unload them. They started selling them for something like $120 and have been slowing marking them down ever since. Some place's sold their last few for even lower than $65. Point being, many locations are already sold out so call before going to avoid any wasted time.
Yes but not for this item. |
Uh-oh those look like 30 rnd mags in hawaii?!?!? Nah j/k where are you located? |
You can check online by location to see if they are available. They are not listed as being available for sale on line. Only in store. And it couldn't hurt to call ahead either. |
