Taxes done, bummer, going to get me a feel better present.  I am still undecided as to what caliber AR I am going to get.  Ammo here is still hard to come by, KY.  I have a beauty pick out but my friends say get if I get a rifle get a rifle not a pistol cartridge.  50 to 100 yards is my max range at my personal shooting area.  I posted the other day looking for help, AR15 40 cal, not alot of help.  There are some great pics here and after reading I have learned a ton.  I lean on all you members for help.  It will be my 1st AR.  I shot my friends .223 bushmaster and thought it was OK.  Being new to guns I have alot to learn.  This past year I bought my 1st pistol 40 cal S&W and my 1st shotgun Remington 11-87 and loved both.  This being a BIG step up, I want to be right.  There are a few AR's in the store in my area, and want to make the best decision.  Not being a gazillionaire, I want the best bang for the buck.  Thanks to all the members for the great advice.  If you're around the Lexington KY area, I can leave my MSN.

Well, I am a gazillionaire and I'll tell you the best bang for your buck
is the 5.56mm caliber.

The original is always better.
