How do I get the stock off so I can replace it with a CBS 6 Position stock?   The new stock will have  the tube, etc.

Thanks guys!

Remove the Buffer and spring from your stock.
Get a stock spanner wrench and loosen the castle nut at the front of the tube. Slide the plate around the tube and gaginst the receiver- back, making sure not to let the spring and detent fall out, and set them aside. Grasp the tube, and place your other hand on the rear of the receiver, placing your thumb on the buffer retaining pin to keep it from flying out. Now unscrew the tube from the receiver. Installing the new stock is the reverse, but remember to place the Buffer retaining pin in and hold it down as you screw in the new tube-overlap the Buffer retaining pin to hold it in place. Slide the receiver plate up with the spring and detent inserted. Tighten the castle nut with a spanner wrench, and your done.
