I have the unfortunate pleasure of living in ct and having a post ban rifle configuration. With that being said I have a 12.0 fsp daniel defense rail on my stag arms 16" m4gery. I have a collapsible stock that I want to place on the rifle, my only dilemma is what length to pin it at.
My question: is it better to have the rifle too short than too long? I have an aimpoint t-1 on for an optic and use the magpul afg all the way out at the end of the rail. I have to make the decision and live with it. If it helps at all I will NOT be wearing armor, tac vest etc...the only thing i can see wearing is a bandoleer type mag carrier if at all. I guess if the rifle is too short, I can always add the tapco buttpad that adds 1" or so to the length... thanks joe |

redbone, I appreciate it! Seems like the second position is best for me, I guess my worry is having a stock that is too short...problem is I can't take it to a range assembled and shoot it because in that cause citing ct law its an assault weapon....
Will have to see how it pans out Thanks again |
