Ok.  I've built an AR-monster and I need to get a stock extension in order to get the correct eye relief on the scope.  What will work on a original trap door type stock and not kill me as far as price goes?  Post away, and thanks for the help...

THE SIMPLER THING TO DO WOULD BE GET A SCOPE BASE THAT ALLOWS FOR THE SCOPE TO BE MOUNTED FURTHER FORWARD.

Hey Doc, DPMS makes a 1" extension that costs about $30.00. The only other one I have seen is from Knights and it costs over twice as much, from Impact anyway. The Knights unit does have a removeable side sling swivel on it that the DPMS doesn't.

I have one of the DPMS extensions that I'll sell ya for $25+shipping. I had it on my rifle and found that I didn't need it. I got a better sight picture thru the small peep on an A2 rear sight without it. E-mail me if you're interested, [email protected]
