| Alright, to start this off I am total idiot when it comes to AR style rifles, I am a bolt and lever gun type of person but my sisters boyfriend just gave me a Armalite SPR mod 1 upper, 16 inch barrel, carbine length gas tube full length rail. What I need help with is figuring out if the Ultra lite stock entry level length stock from doublestar would work with a carbine length buffer tube since I think that is what I need to make this thing function. |

A Carbine buffer, the carbine spring, and the Carbine length standard receiver extension aka "Buffer tube" will not work. Those would be taken off. Do you have a "Castle Nut" wrench or an AR-15 Armorer's Wrench. The tool is very common amongst AR & M16 owners. Installation requires A-2(A2) buffer tube, A2 rifle buffer, and A2 rifle buffer spring. *Note* That is the M16A2 length not the earlier M16A1 Lengths.
