Hello everyone,
I had a quick question. I am working on a 16" Recce build and plan on using a 16.1" PWS medium contour barrel. I am concerned with the balance of the rifle with such a barrel. Previous builds have shown me that with a 16" Gov DD barrel, the gun was very front heavy, which lead me to consider a Magpul UBR stock. With regards to the PWS rifles, I have heard that they balance well. Would a rifle equipped with the PWS barrel balance well with only a standard 6 position collapsable stock, or would a UBR stock help mitigate any front-end weight issues? Essentially, I suppose my question is for those of you who use either the barrel, or the UBR stock, does it balance out the gun well, or just add unnecessary weight? Thanks to all who post, D |
