Not sure that I posted this in the right spot, but if anybody can tell me which way the locking nut on a carbine stock needs to go to loosen, I'd really appreciate it.  I'm trying to get the 4 position stock off of my Bushmaster carbine to install a one point sling mount.  I bought a wrench today at a funshow and have done nothing but sweat.  So, from the rear of the rifle, turn left to loosen?

Got it.  Left is right, so to speak.  I was confused because I knew the locking nut had to move toward the rear of the stock, so I wasn't sure if it was reverse threaded or...

Just thinking too damned much.

And after all of that, I hate my one point sling.

Hey, thanks a bunch.
