A2 vs PRS??? Like comparing a Hummer to a Trooper..
That being said I use both. The PRS is on my .308 build and I like it for the cheekweld and length of pull adjustablity––you can make it "fit" you. I also like the rail on the bottom for mat shooting (monopod). Something I did not plan was how well it balanced the rifle out as it's a heavy stock. I have an A2 on my varmit /target rig with a 20" barrel. It's simple and I don't care too much if it gets beat up a bit. I went with it because it was cheap––$25 in the EE and under $20 for a buffer tube, spring and buffer. A1 on my retro cause it looks the part and the molting looks sexy

I have both. Both work just fine.
If you want adjustability, and more weight, and more "kuhl" go with the PRS. If you want a basic stock thats lighter in weight go with the A2. If the A2 does not give you enough LOP, then insert a DPMS stock extender to give you another inch. |

I have both and I was honestly a bit disappointed after playing with the PRS. Don't get me wrong it's tough as nails, fully adjustable, heavy and extremely high quality. I was disappointed in the fact that I didn't need to make hardly any adjustments to it. That might not be something to complain about, but when you pay $250 for a fully adjustable stock I figured I'd have to make some adjustments. An A2 stock would work about just as well for me. The PRS is cooler and has a few little things that an A2 stock doesn't have.
I don't regret having the PRS stock though. |

I bought one and put on my m&p a nd added a couple turned to length and nothing on cheek height. I have since sold for a cheaper option haha |
