I have a brand new Bushmaster carbine.   I've put about 100 rds  thru it last monday, today  I  shot 18  rds and the bolt got stuck. I got the rifle open but I can't pull the  bolt back.  I was shooting Winchester Q3131 ammo and I've never had a  problem like this before. Any idea's on what has happened?

One thing I saw recently on a friend's RRA bolt carrier assembly was that the rings slipped over the groove they ride in.  Thinking that maybe the original rings were defective, I put three new rings in and properly set them so the gaps did not line up.  A dozen rounds later, same thing, one of the rings worked out of the groove , binding the bolt in the carrier and barrel extension.  This made removing the carrier assembly very difficult, as the bolt had to rotate first.  I had to use a nylon/brass hammer very carefully on the charging handle.  Then, getting the bolt free from the carrier was also fun.  My friend called RRA and they told him that either the groove was not cut deep enough or there was a tolerance problem, but to send it back and they'd make it right. How many times had you shot it before this happened?  This particular problem looks like it will show up pretty soon, usually within about 10 15 rounds.  You may want to try the nylon/brass hammer route, using the nylon part on the ejection port side of the charging handle while depressing the release on the other side.  Good luck.
