I can't get the barrel nut to break loose. I have the upper(Standard M4 flat top) in the vice and I am using the correct tools, but every time that I pull hard on the wrench it just "pops out" of the grooves in the delta ring. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

| Insert the armorers wrench into the delta ring. Put a shop rag on top of and around the barrel and slide your hand up against it to pin the armorers tool into the delta ring. With the wrench at about 10 or 2 depending on which side you are on, get a two foot piece of pipe and slip it over the end of the wrench and pull. Leverage is a wonderful thing. |
