So while I am waiting on my class 3 paper work to come back on my SBR, I have to keep scratching the itch for my BRD.  My question is on A2 uppers, do any of them have M4 feed ramps?   I am sorry for the newbie question, but just want to know before I get too far into it.

A2 don't usually come with M4 feedramps unless you have a custom build..........

The A2 upper receivers used for early M4 carbines and Colt 6520's have M4 ramps.

Most know what you mean when you say "M4," but it is the Colt Model 727.  I only say that for the benefit of the OP––not to be a douche.

At least on Colt, if the A2 upper has a 4 staped on the front of the carry handle just above the hole for the gas tube it wil have M4 ramps cut.

I have a Colt I think that does and I believe ASA makes one also.

You can find Colt A2 uppers with feedramp cuts, some marked with a "4" or "M4" that were made for carbines like the 6520.  You can also get A2 uppers with feedramp cuts from Bushmaster.

I've got a stripped Colt 6520 upper here on my workbench and took a look at it. I never knew about the "4" marking above the gas tube hole until now. Thanks.
