Okay, so I feel like a moron for asking this question. h.gif

But I bought this used Aimpoint Comp M and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the rear flip-up cover on there. As far as I can tell I don't see what's supposed to hold it in place, since there's no edge or lip anywhere for the cover to hold on to.

Here's a picture that better shows what I'm talking about:

Am I missing a part, or am I just being thick headed? hanks

Yes you are missing a small extention, it screws onto the rear.

Email Aimpoint. I did and they hooked me up with lens caps, windage, elevation, battery caps, and a rubber cap retaining strap for minimal cash. Refurbished my old Comp M almost like new.

Man I thought so! I asked the seller, but he claimed it was all there and just needed to be put on.

I'll send off an email to Aimpoint and see if they can hook me up.

Thanks guys!

Edited:

I tried emailing Aimpoint at the address on their website ([email protected])

I'm all set. Aimpoint is sending me a screw-on ring.
Very impressive customer support.
