| Has anyone shot any CCI CB long thru an 1/9 twist barrel? How's the accuracy of it? I'm having a Ciener kit coming in tomorrow and can't wait to shoot it in my back yard. Thank you. |
My Spikes upper cycles standards and subs just fine with a can. You need to run your Ciener very wet. Unfortunately this helps in get very dirty pretty quick. The Spikes bolt/carrier runs almost dry. One drop of oil on each rail. Stays real clean. After 300 rounds of CCI standards and Fed 550 bulk, all I had was white residue to clean off.

Gas tube is not needed. Ater shooting .22 I run a boresnake through the barrel and fire a few rounds of .223. That will blow any residue out of the tube. |
Hi, Mine will shoot Rem. Sub sonics fine. It won't cycle CB Longs,you have to eject them by hand. And I polished the rails and all the good stuff. CB Longs just don't have enough recoil I guess. CB Long shoot about 3 inches low at 25 yards out of mine and it is 1/9 twist. But man is it quiet, sounds like a pellet gun.Great for close range birds.
