I am thinking about buying and installing a Sully Stock on my go to Ar. From what I have read it is just the right length and very solid. Do these stocks take std carbine buffer and buffer springs?
What is your experience with this stock or your opinion on the quality. Can these be purchased from any one other than the manufacturer?

It is solid. takes carbine components and no doubt on quality. Not real fashionable though.

Heavier than a UBR?

I's a solid stock, definitely has some heft. The only thing I didn't like was how slippery it was when shouldered. It seemed to move a bit due to the material and lack of textured or rubberized end.

It is a well made and solid stock.  I use it on my fixed stock ARs.

I like my Sully stocks.
I don't mind a heavier stock; it moves the balance point more toward the rear.

I've seen the Sully's listed on DoubleStar's site before.  They may still be there.  YMMV
