Update from range, here is a picture of a target with ten shots fired in under 20 seconds at 100 yards. I sure like Wilson barrels

I finished my upper, Sundevil billet lower upper, Wilson SS barrel Norrels od green, Leupold 6x18,YHM scope riser, RRA BCG & NM 2stage trigger. Armalite stock and DPMS forearm. I am not so fond of the forearm so if you have any suggestion let me know, Range report on Sunday.

Looks good man, nice and clean. I wouldn't change that forearm unless you want to add a bipod, light, foregrip, electric razor, etc.

I wish SD made their uppers with forward assists though.

You can add a swivel stud for a sling, bipod, etc.  Just get a machine threaded Uncle Mike's swivel stud and drill a hole.  Tighten down with a nut.  My DPMS upper kit came with a UM stud.  I did the above and just put a bipod on it last weekend.  Works beautiful.  Just make damn sure it is lined up.

Very nice.  I like.

I'd say Midwest Industries MI#22.  It'll give you the continuous rail.

BTW:  Is that barrel threaded??  You know what you're missing, right?  **cough**  CAN!! **cough**

You're right, it sucks.  Send it to me and I will make sure you never have to look at it again.

Awesome, brother.  I love the way it looks, but like they say "Hey, it's your gun"

Thanks guy's, I put the thread protector as I am undecided on flash hider vs break. Went out to the range and shot some very nice groups at 100 yards then went to the New Mexico desert and splattered jackrabbits in style. Sure is fun to shoot.

Great looking build, glad it shoots well. Now go splatter more varmints

What do you need the forward assist on a civilian AR for?  I know that I wouldn't be caught jamming a round that didn't want to go into the chamber of gun built for any kind of accuracy.  I know that there are times that you have to dive the bolt home the last 1/8" or less, but a stuck round is still a stuck round and shouldn't be pressed further into the chamber.

Not trying to call you out, just trying to understand the reason for wanting a FA on a gun built for relative accuracy.
