I have a Surefire 6P flashlight / Knights Armament flashlight mount on my M4. I would like to upgrade my flashlight with a remote pressure switch. So far I haven't been able to find one for my surefire 6p. Does anybody know were I can find one? Thanks for the help.

Email Donnie at SABLE Co, he knows the part number for what you need and will get it to you at a great price.

Oh, BTW, if you are not going to get a weapons light, and must put a hand held light on your AR, I would also HIGHLY reccomend getting the shock isolated bezel for the 6P to protect the bulb from the shock of recoil. Having a light for your AR is impprtant, but having one whose bulb isnt shattered is even more important

New AR,
I've got my 6P with shock isolated bezel (It's number is Z32 I believe).  Will be mounting it on my AR.  Will this withstand recoil and use as a weapons light?  Heard stories of standard 6P's breaking, but not 6P's with the shock isolated bezel.  What's your take?  Appreciate your input!

I have a 6P with a Z32 bezel and this tapeswitch.  After about 1K rds the bulb is still intact

The weapons lights take it a step further than just shock isolating the bezel. They also completely seperate the batteries from the bulb. This prevents the batteries from banging into the most fragile part of the light (the bulb).

If you need this level of assurance or not is completely up to you. Will a 6P with a shock belzel work? What are the odds of it breaking without the extra level of security seperating the batteries from the bulb offers?

To my way of thinking, if the gun is anything other than a range gun or show piece, if the gun may actually be relied upon to save your or others life, then I think it is worth the added expense to reduce the odds of failure even further. Because at that point, its not about the odds, its about the stakes.
