| Pros/Cons of each? Thanks... |

I may be very wrong, but I've never seen a LED light that lights up an area like an incandelescent light. I have many surefire lights both led and non led, and have just researched the candlepowerforums and checked out the light comparisons. I went to the general discussions, when to the top and clicked on the "sticky" that were" threads of interest", then went close to the bottom of the page to the beam comparrison thread. The M3T is much brigher than the M60 Malkov drop in which is rated higher in lumens.
I use my P961 with 225 lumen bulb, and a 6P with 120 lumen bulb to hunt at night, and if I can get brighter I would love to. |

Don't waste your money on the incandescent version. The G2 LED is the way to go. I have had both incandescent and LED tactical lights and there is no comparison. Not to mention the battery life is greatly lengthened with LED's.
For the record, incandescent bulbs are old technology. |

I have 4 G2's and wish I had a G2LED. Can I buy the bulb and put it in the G2? Yes, but I recommend a Malkoff M60WL, instead. M60WL |

Forget both of em' and buy the polytac instead...Its the same weight/size as the g2 and has a 120 lumen LED bulb for $40somethin. Just got one.. its plenty bright +1 For about the same price as the G2 (maybe less if you look around) you get more lumens than the G2LED. Momentary on and constant on with a push clicky, no turning. It is slightly less than 1'' diameter, so a small section of inner tube and it will fit any mount. |

The G2 LED is economically the better flashlight. The incandescent only gives 60 minutes of run time vs the G2LED's 12 hours of run time.
That means you have to buy 24 CR123's to get the same run time as 2 CR123's in the LED version. The G2 LED will pay for itself the first round of batteries. Its 2010, LED's are the way to go. |

I have a G2L and am looking for the best mount that quick detaches it from my rail system. I am looking for one that does not screw into the light as the G2L has a rubber coating and I do not wish to screw into it. Thoughts? Have you looked at LaRue mounts. Very nice. A little spendy. They stand behind their products. |
