I'm sure it's been covered, but I did a search and didn't find anything. Does anyone have this LED head? I just picked one of for $20, figured I couldn't go wrong with that price. It's supposed to be 19 lumen's, which seems really low since my old P61 lamp was 120 I think. Are LED and incandescent bulbs rated different or is it that dim of a light? I put it on my 6P and will try it out tonight, but after reading the 19 lumen part I expect to be disappointed.  |
| It is dim relative to the current generation of LED's. The KL3 was designed maybe 5 years ago and I believe the goal was extended runtime. At that time there were not many lights that could go regulated (full output) for 4+ hours continuously. $20 is good price. It makes a good around-the-house utility light. |
Thanks for the info, I think I'll take it off my weapon and use it for a general purpose light. I won't know how it works for that even until it gets dark. |
