Does Surefire make a replacement LED head for the M900 foregrip light? What is the model #?

Also, what is the Larue mount that will work with it?

Yes, the KL6 bezel.

What is the throw like on the KL6 bezel?

Its bright WHITE light is very good indoors, but being 60 lumens, it quickly loses its ability as the distance grows, the beam also isn't as tightly focused, it spreads more than an incandescent light.
It can temporarily blind you just as well

Did you go to the KL6 because the regular lamp was eating too many batteries?  I have the same light and love it.  I am just debating if I should consider the KL6 head.

I haven't used either of my M900s much, enough to swap out the batteries yet, but I'm just in the process of replacing many incandescent lights with LED heads.  LED can't replace incandescent lights completely yet, but I believe it's on its way to, I'm an early adopter

I agree with you.  I use a Surefire E2L as a scout light on the left side of my Picatinny rail so just in case my M910 goes down I have something.  And of course 6 extra batteries in the VLTOR stock.  Can never have enough batteries.
