Are Surefire rail systems any good? Looking for opinions? Pros/Cons. I am going to be putting it on a RRA Entry Tactical.
Suggestions welcome too.... |
| i've got em. as above, they lock up solid and havent moved in the 2 years i've had them on. only thing that might be considered a drawback is that the top rail does not sit flush with the top rail of the AR's upper receiver. this doesn't affect me as i dont ever plan to bridge anything between the receiver and the rails, however to some its a no go. |
| I really like mine for what it is, a non-free float system. All I put on it are a VFG and light. If you think that you might want to add optics or pointers to the rail system or just want free-float in general, cough up the extra $50 or so and get something like the Daniel Defense Omega, which doesn't require you to modify your weapon like most other free-floats. Also, the nice thing about the M73 is that you get the nice SureFire ladder rail covers and you also get the capability to add KAC rail panels if you want. |
