I picked up a M600C today and took it to the range and shot 100 rounds through my 14.5" upper. The lens was just behind the AAC Breakout Comp. When I was finished shooting, I wiped the carbon build off of the lens, but there is some around the outer portion of the lens that won't come off. I've tried CLP, alcohol pads, and windex and nothing has worked. Its not bad, but I'm concerned about it building up over time. Is this something anyone has seen before? Is there a better way to clean the lens?

I'll try to get some good pics and post them. Thanks!

It won't really cause a problem, but try a pencil eraser to get rid of it.

Use a WD-40 pen on the lense before shooting next time. Pencil eraser will get that off nicely.

Yup just put a light coat of CLP or whatever on the lense before u go shooting and when u go to clean the weapon it will wipe right off with a towel.
