I'm ready to pull the pin on a couple V2's, but was wondering if anybody has seen them for under $310 bucks. Seems like everybody is selling them for MSRP, but I'd think somebody out there is discounting them at least a few bucks. Anybody seen them for less?

They had more in stock. Beware tho, you can't weapon mount it. I had to buy a M951 for $150 (new from a guy who has more in the EE) to get something that works. Still was cheaper than buying a $600 M952V but irritating because Surefire forces you to buy the more spendy model by putting those @#$%ing relief cuts in the body tube. |

The bad news is that the lens they use gives the halo around the hot spot a puke green and brown ring around it. The IR beam is also powerful and tight. 200 yards would be a max unless you had ideal conditions-we're talking 3rd gen NVD's and a red dot or low power magnification scope like a 3x ACOG. I can make the ACOG work, but it's not ideal unless you are shooting from a static position. |
