[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Surefire® M500A Problem

Went to do an op check on my AR with a Surefire M500A with led and noticed the LED lights did not come on. The main light works fine and has fresh batteries. I did change to a brighter bulb but that shouldn't effect the LED.(?) Light is only about 2 months old and has endured about 100 rounds. Any ideas why the LED might be out? Thanks!

Please try putting the battery carrier in the other way around...

ok, I feel dumb now, just wouldn't think that any part of the light would work if it was in backwards. I know now. Thanks....
