I'm looking for a simple push button tail cap for my V2 weaponlight. It currently has the XM07 remote switch on it. Will the Z68 style cap fit it?

Is your weaponlight body a scout body? If so, then yes it will fit.

Edit to add: What is your exact weaponlight model? The V2 is a handheld light.

The Z68 will not work. You will need a Z48, Z49, Z58, or Z59.

The Z48/Z49 and Z58/Z59 are clickie TailCaps.
A simple push button pressure switch is Z41.

SureFire have also offered the SW02 clickie TailCap designed for the Millennium Universal WeaponLights such as the Vampire version you have.

same size body as a G2 6p or 6Z. if you have any of those lights you can use the tailcap off of it

Are you selling your XM tailcap and switch? I am in need of one..

Are you looking for clickie or push-monentary / twist-on? I have the push-momentary/twist-on switch off of my G2 that I don't use..

I guess I'm out of luck on getting a flat black clickie switch then. The Z49/59 are that shiny black.

After looking around, the matte black U2 Ultra tailcap would be the ticket for me. Surefire won't sell it separately.

try ebay. odd surefire parts show up there off and on. I got my Z48 there several years ago.

The one off my G2 is flat black,but its not clickie per say.. its momentary-press/twist on... and I am trade/selling it so I can get a XM tailcap....

The tailcap on a G2D is HA black I believe.
