Santa Barbara, Spain or Australian? Which is the better one? Also are there any more? I just bought a 1919 and now have to feed it |
The Indian stuff is dangerous ammo that should not be on the market. Zero quality control....pure garbage that shouldn't be sold. I wouldn't shoot it if it were free. |

e-mail me if you want some ausi or port, I will hook you up E-mail me @ [email protected] |
Email sent, the Aussie is sounding good to me. I haven't read a single negative comment on any of my regular forums yet. |

Aussie 308 is the shit.....shoots under 1 MOA in my 700 POLICE at ranges out to 300 before they start to open up. And just recently put some rounds down the pipe of my issue M24 to 1000 meters and they were hitting iron maiden at about 70 percent of the time. Good stuff! 11B10B4 |
email sent Ausi sounds good, I have been shooting Portugesse with no problem |

I've been the exception to the rule with Port, it doesn't shoot as well in my FAL as Hirt or SA. It groups a little larger and shoots to a different point of impact than those two. Maybe it was just the batch I had. The stuff I had was steel jacket copper washed too, instead of lead core w/copper jacket. The first Australian that came out was packed in bandoliers and ammo cans (bonus) and lately I've been seeing it in blister packs. Is there any difference in vintage or manufacturer between the two? |
Mine came in wooden crates with 200 rounds in sealed battle packs. Now you got me thinking that it may not be Port. I have to go down to my dungeon to check brb. Edit: Good thing I went down, all the lights were on. Yes, all the crates have a label: Made in Portugal. |
Most everybody loves the Port. Just out of curiousity, have you tried a magnet on yours? |
Blister pack stuff is newer and in some lots is boxer primed. |
