Just finished my first build a Stag Arms M4orgery and man with the help of the above sticky on building your own lower it was ridiculously easy. My biggest pain was the disconnector/trigger instalation, took a half hour or so of cussing and heavy sighs.

I think using a pair of vice grips with several layers of tape to protect is the way to go for inserting pins rather than tapping them in, any experienced opinions on this?

I found it exceedingly easy to do. Squeezing them in works great and there is less chance of breaking shit.

I recently put together my first lower. Used a brass-ended hammer on the roll pins, easy enough. Hardest part for me was definitely the bolt catch roll pin. Managed to get everything in place without dinging anything up, though.
