i am currently running a troy medieval muzzle brake and am curious if i install my original a2 flash hider will change my poi.

my dad says the blast is unbareable when sitting next to me in a mule when out spot lighting varmints.

i am curious because i probably wont have time to hit the range to check my poi with the muzzle device swap.

i could check the poi at the ranch but i prefer not to this time because we'll be hunting pigs.

thanks guy!

It is possible, however most likely you will see negligible shift.

In any event, should you do many any change to your rifle, check the zero.

Probably, but usually not much.

I wear electronic muffs (H.L. Impact Sport) over foam plugs. It amplifies sound to the point that a conversation is no prob, but when I pull the trigger I just hear a dull "thud".

Always check your zero after performing any muzzle device exchange. Swapping a Vortex for a Surefire muzzle brake produced a 2 inch point of impact shift at 100 metres for me...

I switched from an A2 to a Vortex back to an A2 then a Battlecomp. The last one had a POI change of at least 2-3 inches at 50 yards.
