| How well does the Switchblock (on the suppressed setting) + suppressor reduce gas in your face? |
|
THE SWITCHBLOCK ALSO KEEPS THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF GAS RUNNING THROUGH THE SYSTEM.
1. IF SHOOTING FULL AUTO SUPPRESSED, THE CYCLIC RATE REMAINS UNCHANGED WHEN COMPARED TO UNSUPPRESSED. 2. SUPPRESSED USE THEREFORE DOES NOT INCREASE THE STRESS ON THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS AS IT USUALLY DOES. IT'S A GREAT SYSTEM. GOOD SHOOTING, WES |

is there any other aftermarket product that can be purchased seperatly, that would work like the SB? THE SWITCHBLOCKS ARE AVAILABLE AS AN AFTERMARKET COMPONENT. Wes, I bought a 14.5" Middy aftermarket SB but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. All I've ever seen are the factory installed versions and was wondering if you use these on some of your builds? |

I'VE ALWAYS USED THE FACTORY INSTALLED VARIETY WITH THE PIN AND SET SCREW SECURING IT, BUT THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH THE AFTERMARKET CLAMP-ON VARIETY. PERSONALLY, I LIKE CLAMP-ON GAS BLOCKS. |

will it make a difference, I have a 16" middy? That I can't answer correctly..I think they have a 16" Middy version though..I honestly wouldn't know what the difference is other than dwell time and maybe the ports are drilled different..what set up do you have now? |
