| At present I have a simple carry strap rigged to my M4 in the traditional manner: swivel studs at the bottom front of railed forend and at the toe of the stock. Now, I'm thinking I would like to give a VFG a try and, if I like it, this will require moving the mounting points to the side of the carbine. I'm also thinking about upgrading to a Vickers sling and replacing the studs with button-detach swivels. Is swivel rotation an issue that I should be concerned about? Is 11/4" the right size for this sling? Trying to think this through is giving me a headache, any advice would be appreciated. |
