I was wondering if the crosshairs on the T168 stayed in view or can you just see them if it's turned on . Kinda like a red dot . thanks

They do, just like a regular scope.

An arfcommer by the name of Tangochaser used one while he was in the sandbox, I'm not sure if he posts anymore, but he had nothing but good things to say about this scope.

I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. And for $75 I wouldn't think you're getting much. Then again poor college students like myself can't really be that choosey... In my opinion I'd save toward a better scope. Thats what I'm doing, anyway.

I read some reviews and decided to try it out for myself.

Tried it a few weekends ago. While sighting it in the first shots were high and right, so I adjusted it by 6-10 clicks left and the POI never changed. Tried it again and never changed. Tried tapping on the scope (heard that works, besides I was a Grunt) and nothing helped.

Needless to say I'm sending it back for a refund.

I had to send my first one back because the cross hairs looked more like an "X" rather than "+".  The company I bought it from sent me a new one, and it's been great.  I mounted it on the receiver of my M4gery, and have shot about 2-300 rounds with no problems.  It was easy to zero and has held zero.  I haven't removed it from the rifle, so I don't know if it will return to zero or not.  I don't use the illumination feature (although it works), so can't comment on that.

I've only used it at the range (100 yards) and it's worked well for that.  I paid about $50 (including shipping) and I think it was well worth that, especially since two mounts (carry handle and flat top) were included.  I just can't justify spending several hundred dollars on a scope just to punch paper.

This is a LEAPERS made in China product, if you were not aware.

That is all I will say.

The T168 is a decent range optic that is fairly lightweight.  The crosshairs are on the wide side and the scope to mount attachment method is suspect IMO.  Some guys have received good units and others have received crap units.  After owning one, I wouldn't give over $25 for a good one.
